An Installation Art Contest «Your Choice»

An installation art contest “Your Choice” was organized by the Charital Foundation “Salus” within its authoring program “Art Against AIDS”.
Contestants, who have volunteered to participate, displayed HIV \ AIDS problem with diverse artistic, household, at hand means. No wonder the exposition was put up in the “Museum of ideas” – in the artistic space where original ideas are born and live.

The organizers have proposed the following topics: prevention of HIV and sexually transmitted infections, healthy and safe lifestyle promotion, living with HIV, women and HIV, prevention of the birth of HIV-infected children, prevention of stigma and discrimination against people living with HIV / AIDS. Installation artworks presented at the exhibition were the result of a creative rethinking of the proposed topics and were created by the artists based on their personal experiences and attitude to the problem.
